I feel like we are going to be really good next year. I think our worst nightmare will be losing one of these coordinators to a HC job. I think Pace and the scouts have done a good job getting some young players with potential. Another offseason with a decent draft and UDFAs plus a free agent or two and these close games become wins.

Focus should be on the lines. On offense, if we want to be a more conservative offense, we've got to get a line that can run block even when the defense knows what we are going to do. I think a better defensive line will help the linebackers and DBs out. While we do need to get some more talent at DB, Amos, Porter and even Fuller have potential. I would be mad at adding a couple corners either way. Jenkins and Goldman need some help. I just don't see anyone else making any plays.

I really want to see Cutler and Forte back next year and hopefully an upgraded and healthy oline.

He's pretty hamstrung with this oline and he's got Cutler playing his best ball since Martz. And he's not getting completely killed.

We need defense and more OL. Kyle long is the only guy who will stick long term

Cutler nor Forte will be around when the Bears are respectable again.

If Grasu can get bigger and stronger he might stick. How old is Slausen?

Bears need a LB and DE pretty desperately. Everything else is a lower priority. But this team just cannot compete without picking up an impact DE and at least one significant LB upgrade.

I think a lot of what we have will be good depth if we get good starters. And that makes special teams better. Is Shea doing enough to be the MBL going forward?

Shae might start again next year just due to how many players the bears need on D.

Priorities imo:

1. LB, DE
2. CB, LB
3. OL (maybe)

Of course, if a QB is there that this staff likes, that trumps everything.

OL... idk, I think there is a chance this current group of young guys could develop. We'll see what happens over the rest of the season.

Agreed.

Pass rusher
Cornerback
Linebacker
Safety

Something like that. Offense needs minimal work. But I think they are headed in the right direction.

I think we should sign a stud FA corner and Left Tackle. Draft a LB/DE round 1 and pray Cook or Hack fall to our second. And also prey if we take one of them they become a great qb.
