There are certainly going to be a lot more questions than answers for the NFC North in 2022 this offseason.
Similar to last year, a lot will hinge on Rogers and whether or not he really, truly leaves or retires. And if he does stay, what do the Packers do with Love? Do they really want him to just ride the bench for another year? That would mean they would have to make a decision on his 5th year option in the 2023 offseason without really knowing if he can play.
I think the Vikings are going to be a mess between the coaching change, age, and who the heck knows with Cousins at this point. I think they are stuck with him and I don't see that being good enough.
The Lions probably need to find another qb as well, but this isn't supposed to be a great draft for QB's. I think they improve a bit, hard to say how much.
The Bears chances will completely ride on how much of a jump that Fields can take from year 1 to year 2. I think they will be doing very well for themselves to be in the playoff hunt in December. I think they hover around .500 for most of the season.
Overall though, I agree with the idea that if Rogers is really out of the NFC North, then there will not be a clear favorite and it will likely be a 8-9 or 9-8 team that wins the division.
