OK honest question….. what’s so hard about cow branding? I have no idea. Serious non troll question.
I wouldn’t say it’s hard individually but you gotta wrestle and hold down a calf (they’re not as small as you think) hundreds of times over a couple days. Holding them still while you put a burning hot brand on them and also injecting them with a huge needle. It’s actually a good time as a whole but you definitely get a workout.
He says they run 800. The two groups I help are much smaller herds.

I would have no issues with them moving up to get Henderson, my number one guy on the wish list

Depends - are you one of the two men holding the cow? If so, you gotta hold a 400-500 lb calf steady through a painful experience. They fight it. If you're the one branding, you have to be swift and steady. You can't pussyfoot and only lightly touch the beast, and you gotta keep the brand on the spot for a few seconds without moving out of place.

I'm not a farmer, but when I was a kid, the folks would take us back to the family farm in the summers to learn a day's work. Primarily grew alfalfa, so we had something like 50 milking cows if memory serves. The practices could have very well changed in the thirty years since, and it's completely fair to assume that practices are different in different places.

per Albert Breer

"South Carolina S Nick Emmanwori is still available, and I think the Chicago Bears could be a sneaky fit, with Jaquan Brisker’s concussion concerns lingering. Chicago is at 39 and 41, and Emmanwori could fit into a Malcolm Jenkins–like role for new Bears CB Dennis Allen."

"Along those lines, one name I’ve heard consistently connected to the Browns over the course of Friday is Ohio State tailback TreVeyon Henderson (though it’s less clear if it’d be at 33). If a quarterback wound up in play, word is that coach Kevin Stefanski really took a liking to Louisville’s Tyler Shough, though I’d heard the brass would at least have a discussion on the availability of Shedeur Sanders."

Yea i'd like judkins and emmanwori.

But honestly feel like it should be DL for one of those 2nd rounders. That gorup is so thin. Owens isnt very good but he's better than any backup DE we have

Before draft day, it was my opinion that Emmanwori would be a great pick if this team traded back to 20. If he's there at 39, I run to the podium

He's probably my top guy i want as well but i already know he's going to get drafted before #39. If it's not by a team that already has a pick from 33 to 38 then a team will trade up above us knowing there's a good chance the Bears will take him at #39 if they don't.
