I know what you mean, but Thorn mentioned in his scouting report that Trapillo can play guard. Trapillo also mentioned how he’s been training for 4 positions (excluding center). It would seem there’s belief there’s opportunity there from his own camp. Really though, it’s the mention from Thorn that tells me he can probably work. If Thorn volunteered that Trapillo can try guard, I have no reason to believe it wouldn’t be worth developing and finding out.
You're not going to have a 6-8 guard. I appreciate that he's practicing to play guard. But at 6-8 he's going to lose a lot of DT leverage battles.

Definitely need a bruiser. In that role I do like Skattebo a lot. Some say we should double dip—bruiser and elite speed and just trick out the RB room—Swift, Skattebo, Tuten? That would be insane.
Skattebo in round 4 and a burner in round 7 would be fine by me. Then go developmental OL in round 5 and pick up Von miller in FA

How old is Von Miller now? Completely forgot about that guy

Old as dirt but I’d take him as a 3rd down pass rush specialist. He was still highly productive last year. DL would be legit with Sweat, Jarrett, Billings, Dexter, Turner, Dayo, Booker, and Von.

FTR, he’s 36

I fully expect burden to get a ton of deebo type touches out of the backfield. I still hate the pick but love the creativity Johnson will have with everyone.

Trapilo is probably a safer pick than ersery but lower ceiling.

Shemar I didn't know a lot about but feels like a high risk, high reward pick. I liked a couple other guys better (Darius Alexander), but I also hadn't looked into shemar much. He wasn't overdrafted, as he went about where projected. Also worth noting Texas a&m makes every DL worse while there.

Him, judon, zadarius Smith, Preston Smith are all worth checking in on.

Zadarius would be nice as well. Give me him or Von and I’d feel really good about the DL.

OL is in nice shape too after the trapilo pick. Want another developmental iOL though

Really? Huh. That’s the one pick that I have absolutely no reservations about.

And I think you’re correct. They’re going to be very creative getting him the ball.

I don’t really get the hate for Shadeur. Not even talking about his play. People are euphoric about him dropping like he’s this bad kid. Considering who his dad is and how they tend to rub off on their kids sometimes, I’d say he’s fairly quiet and likable. He’s taking advantage of his fame like anybody in his position would. I don’t think he’s this cocky kid who needs his comeuppance though.
This aside… at this point, the problem with him is if anyone wants the circus that comes with having him as your backup QB. That’s a big negative, even if he’s probably valued higher than this.

As some have pointed out, all those stories that leaked out of Colorado the last couple of years about his “rap career” and his dad making the team go to his concert are all true.

What is interesting looking back is that there is no one between 41 and 56, I am really upset we missed out on. Closest was Ersery but Trapilo is essentially a comparable player.

"I've got 'Legendary' and "Perfect" painted all over my walls and some teams took that to indicate I don't think I have things to work on, and they think I am not humble. Racists!!"
