I traded out of the second.

Round 1 Pick 14: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh
Round 3 Pick 3 (OAK): Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State
Round 3 Pick 19 (CLE): Keith McGill, CB, Utah
Round 3 Pick 30 (S.F.): Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois
Round 4 Pick 7 (OAK): Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia
Round 4 Pick 17: Chris Smith, DE, Arkansas
Round 4 Pick 19 (DAL): Josh Huff, WR, Oregon
Round 4 Pick 30 (N.E.): Morgan Breslin, OLB, Southern California
Round 5 Pick 16: Ricardo Allen, CB, Purdue
Round 5 Pick 30 (S.F.): Preston Brown, ILB, Louisville
Round 6 Pick 7: Dri Archer, WR, Kent State
Round 6 Pick 15: Colt Lyerla, TE, Oregon

You traded out of the 2nd for two 3rds, three 4ths and a 5th? That's about as realistic as the ending to Draft Day...

That movie was fucken horse shit. I blame myself for being stupid enough to watch it through though. I should have known just how bad that movie was going to be the second it's preview stated that it's "The best sports movie since Bull Durham". Bull Durham was a fucken' masterpiece. Draft Day was a dramatic pile of Hollywood afterbirth.

They half assed a love story, and quarter assed a football movie.

Traded back multiple times, not just in the second. That was the only one that dropped back a significant number of picks.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Miami Hurricanes
  2. Northern Illinois Huskies
Used Fanspeak's big board.

14. DT AARON DONALD, PITTSBURGH-If he's there, the Bears run their card up to the podium. If he's not, I'd have no problem choosing Hageman here either.

51. S DEONE BUCANNON, WASHINGTON STATE-Listening to Emry speak I chose the toughness of Bucannon over the coverage ability of Terrance Brooks. I'd have no problem with either here. Whether it happens in this draft or a combination of this draft and next, we need to draft two starting-caliber safeties. What we have now aren't long-term solutions.

82. CB KEITH MCGILL, UTAH-Big physical corner that can learn from Peanut. Would also consider Pierre Dessir here. Both developmental projects.

117. DT EGO FERGUSON, LSU-Big, athletic DT that didn't play up to his ability in college, but has the tools to be a good DT in the league. Good value in the 4th.

156. RB DEVONTA FREEMAN, FLORIDA STATE-Would be a good #2 behind Forte and could possibly help on kick off returns.

183. OT SEANTREL HENDERSON, MIAMI-Has all the tools to be a long-time starter in the NFL. When he was on the field for Miami he played very well. He's a knucklehead however that can't be relied on. Needs to mature.

191. TE COLT LYERLA, OREGON-Everybody knows his story by now; first round talent, undraftable character concerns. Worth taking a flyer on in the 6th.

Anyone ever use the firstpick.com simulator that grades the pick, lets you trade up & down, & with much more realistic outcomes? I get hooked trying get get straight A's on the firstpick simulator.

Here you go, traded back in 1st. Really wasn't planning on Carr, but at R2P19, I don't think you pass him up. I have no clue how Bucannon fell, I attempted to trade back up to get him, but in the end didn't need to.

Round 1 Pick 19 (MIA): Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville (A)
Round 2 Pick 19: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State (A)
Round 3 Pick 17 (MIA): Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State (A)

Round 5 Pick 16: Caraun Reid, DT, Princeton (A)
Round 6 Pick 7: Bennett Jackson, CB, Notre Dame (A)
Round 6 Pick 15: Tom Hornsey, P, Memphis (A)

Just did the first-pick.com simulation.

Donald was gone by the time 14 came around, so I traded back into the late first. Had to use next year's first to move back in, but there was a run on DTs.

RD1 - (DT) Louis Nix (Notre Dame)
RD2 - (SS) Deone Bucannon (Washington State)

RD5 - (OT) Charles Leno (Boise State)
RD6 - (WR) Dri Archer (Kent State)
RD6 - (TE) Colt Lyerla (Oregon)

On the Dan Patrick show on Friday, they talked about how Carr's stock is rising greatly and Bridgewater's is falling off. Some say that Carr may be the 2nd or 3rd qb taken.
