Security... meh... i do miss having all that fake responsibility... after i got out of the military my first job was for a security firm that placed me @ some resort hotel. I was promoted to site supervisor in two weeks -- pickings were slim i guess, the former super was a crazy drunk nam vet...
still though...at 21 i was in charge of over seeing the security of 1000 rooms spread over three buildings, two restaurants, 3 pools, and a lake with a fucking tiki bar.. i went skinny dipping in one of those said pools one drunken off duty night -- technically i called off and made some other schmuck work my shift.. also, i got the desk to comp my room and the all the porn me and this chick smashed to.. being the super has its benefits i guess
My boss in corporate was some former scrub detriot lion lineman..i forget his name....
i quit 4 weeks after getting promoted due to personal reasons..

ehhh nothing juicy.. just real life bs.... a death in the family...i took it hard...dark times.. it pushed me towards the bottle hard for a couple of years..... i moved to another state...... eh... if things were different id probably be on the corporate side of their firm by now.. next steps after my promotion were area super and regional....then corporate jobs.. i was the youngest super that i was aware of..
but all my choices have brought me to where i am.. im okay with that..

no worries mate.. it is what it is.. i hope it worked out for the better.. i think im where im suppose to be.. i dont like to play what ifs.. cause i tend to think of the results turning for the worse..
say i never tore my rotator cuff.. i would have never dropped out of college... i partied hard so i would have probably od'ed by my sophomore year.. or died high as **** in a car wreck..i did have a couple of wrecks that cheated death... perhaps i just flunk out and join the military injury free.. maybe i get killed in the middle east instead of being medically released with prior medical issues...
plus at the end of the day... i dont think i could trade my kids life to go back and live out a what if
