The NFL needs to get a handle on their referee situation. First MVS gets assaulted, now they are saying there was a foul on the hail Mary.

Totally unacceptable.

I'm ok with the Hail Mary, that happens all the time. The game changer was the obvious PI on Scantling earlier in the drive.

Poor officiating all around. Pathetic. But the Pack is still mediocre, a good defense will eat Love up
Officiating in football has way too much influence.

I believe the Chiefs Defense is top 10 in the league

Silver lining of GB beating KC - maybe their GM decides he needs to invest in weapons for Mahomes and lets Jones find his bag in FA. Bears sign Jones and Hunter and all of the sudden they have a very good DL.

Some things never change. I can almost deal with the Hail Mary non-call, but the MVS one is up with the worst ever.

Love crumbles under pressure very fast.

otherwise he can run the system very well
He's bailed himself out by throwing it up this season. Not sure if that'll work past this season

inb4 the experts start clamoring about the "muddy NFC playoff picture" cause the AFC isn't any better.

also the NFL's parity is failing in 2023. there's like 6 excellent teams and the rest are all middling or there's 4 that are absolutely atrocious. I don't remember there being so many .500 teams making the playoffs

I'm going to accept it and just laugh when GB is that team that loses to Carolina.

#calling NFC will win SB though. Chiefs can't get any receivers going. Kelce has been too cringe off the field to be as effective on it. Who else in AFC besides Chiefs can rise? Bills? Miami? Can Baltimore win in the post season with Lamar? Maybe get a preview of the SB on Christmas day?

Why bother calling it now? It all comes down to which team gets hot in the playoffs, regular season be damned.

I think the Bears are going to have a chance to be the team that knocks the Packers out of the playoffs if things continue to trend in the direction they're going. Wouldn't that be nice? Two years in a row an NFC North divisional opponent gets to ruin the Packers playoff hopes in Lambeau.

Matt Eberflus' fate might also hinge on the outcome of that game, too, depending on how well they play in the games leading up to week 18.

Even if Flus finishes strong, you still have to go with Harbaugh or another option if they are a better coach.

Yes, he can't facilitate a team. I know the argument is that the defense is finally looking good. With the personnel that they currently have, any competent DC from the new HC hire would make this same defense look good.
