What's the whole deal on this? It seems a little to confusing for me and I've heard if you mess up your team bad (with contracts or something) you have no way of restarting or anything and are pretty much screwed. Is there a way to build a successful team without ever dropping money on it?

Brand new to this, got the 3 free packs to start off with and then bought 2 jumbo's because they we're only 60 MP and I had 120 MP leftover. I then bought 3 guys 89+ at the AH for a total of 800 Pucks. Currently have 1500 Pucks and am 6-0-1.. suggestions for a newcomer?
