They didn't want him to start a fight at the end of the game.
I wasn't looking but I think he flicked the puck and hit a Yotes player or something like that.

Bad hit. Hayes got what he had coming.
Having said that it was in the "hitting zone" and appeared to be "a hockey play" so maybe there is precedence for a wrist slap.
I won't shed a tear for the diving cheap shot Yotes in any event.

I still think we lose. Since he played for us Hossa kinda dissapeared in the playoffs and the whole team *again* didn't play a full 60.
That being said, dirty hit, I would honestly be surprised if he was suspended for anything less than 5 games.

Thank god the Coyotes had refs on the ice to make the call. Instead of all of them on a coffee break like when Hossa was hit.

I'd just like to say that Metta getting 7 games is a page right out of the shanaban book, or is it the other way around.... I think that pro sports should leave the big stuff to the cops and this will stop real quick. Start criminal charges. Get them off the roids... ect.
