Man....making the playoffs in the west is going to continue to be a difficult circus. There are some long stretches of death in that schedule and not much breathing room.

Not every team in the west is going to be brutal.
Arizona sucks.
Vancouver is close to rebuild mode.
Winnipeg has no D (and possibly no netminding)
Nashville can't score.
The Avs have Roy.
Are the Flames for real?
LA is a fringe team if they can't get their top line on the score sheet.
Dallas will rebound.
The Sharks are in Rebuild mode.
The Blues will be in the hunt for the division.
Minnesota is a huge question mark. Can Dubs do it again?
Oilers? Bad, bad and bad with a lot of young talent. That's a team Sharp could fit into well.

Guess we'll see what FA and the draft do, but some of these teams are looking to hit the cap floor and just exist.

Ugh. Another outdoor game. At least it won't count as a home game.

^I agree. I like the outdoor games but this is the 3rd straight year. A couple years off from them would be a good thing.

This road schedule is a bit boring to me.... To be honest, the home games look more appealing this time around.

That said, I want tickets for the home opener this time around.

I'd be fine with the all star game being outdoors at a neutral site and the winter classic being an every other year event. The Stadium Series can stop and it won't bother me, but if it grows the game for fans, so be it.

I'd be up for anything that makes the All-Star Game watchable.
