I have all of them, and rewired USB controllers. I love retro gaming, it's amazing.
I have an 8 year old brother and we have this massive age gap. His parent's are more like normal people's grandparents, and I feel bad for him. But I realized something of late.
The way my parents would pass on music from generation, is the way we will pass on video games to our kids.
My brother and I had some summer hang out time, and I started him out with Pong, and worked our way up the ranks, he liked all of the games. He had a shorter attention span for some, but that's expected. Super Mario will never die. He loved all of the Mario games, and we beat everything together up to Galaxy 1, and played some of Galaxy 2. He likes Super Mario 64 the best out of all of them, and I'm really amazed at that, with Super Mario World as a close 2nd.
Other honorable mentions for him were Tony Hawk 2(PSX), Crazy Taxi 2(DC), Twisted Metal 2(PSX), Legend of Zelda Links Awakening(SNES) and Super Mario Bros 3(NES) I admit, he has some good taste
He was just overwhelmed by all of the good games, and he really got bored with his Current Gen consoles(he has Wii, PS3,and 360 with a ton of games already... spoiled little shit LOL)
