So Nirvana was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They only had 3 albums but I still think they are deserving and should have been inducted years ago. One of the most influential bands of the '90s and still relevant all these years later. They invented a genre of rock music that they personally took from the undergrounds of Washington to the mainstream. It's a shame that Kurt Cobain died so young... could have been the next John Lennon.

I think that Kurt Cobain dying is why Nirvana and Cobain are so overrated. Great band, great music, I'm a fan, but one of the top 5 overrated bands in history. Anyway, good for them.

The RR HOF is a JOKE.

Such stellar artists as The Beastie Boys and Alice Cooper are inducted...while Alan Parsons and the Moody Blues are omitted.

Are you kidding me?.

Nah, if anything it was bands like Melvins and Flipper that really created grunge.

Nirvana popularized it, and deserve to be in the HOF. But they didn't create anything.

Now I'm going to cue up some Melvins on Spotify. Loved those guys.

This is why I think you're so overrated as a poster.

He did...really messed me up as a kid listening to his music and looking up to the band.

Of course there is the theory that his wife killed him and made it look like a suicide.
