That is a recipe for having Terry in the slot all day lined up against LBs.
Yeah not a fan of Sanborn in coverage that much, especially against Terry. That’s why you don’t draft a SAM LB’er in the 1st. They are naturally liabilities in the passing game.

For sure. You would have to be really stupid to do that and no one is that stupid.

Depends on the formation - Dunno if this website is legit because I dont waste money on PFF like remy but they are the 21st ranked team for 11 personnel.

If you got 3 or more wideouts out there obviously you dont want sandborne, but I expect the cummanders to try to run the ball against the bears since thats been their big glaring weakness this year on defense.

Because of Washington's running game. I'm fine with Blackwell, I think he plays well enough in the slot but Sanborn makes plays the times he does get on the field.

Not sure why remy thinks sandborne would be forced to play terry in the slot.

They are a heavily run first team, we arent playing the seagulls here

Edit: It also depends what QB plays. If its mariota obviously you want to stop the run first and make him prove it with his arm, that would lead me believe that sandborne would be the choice. If jayden plays you prob see more blackwell.

'i always assumed Daniels would play and still do. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Gordon again until GB or even later. that looked like a severe strain. Was hoping Brisker would make this game but glad they're erring on the side of caution with a concussion.

Sucks losing Gordon. Who cares about brisker defense is better without him

Proving once again you run around with your head too far up your ass to see.
Campbell wasn't drafted to be the SAM, and Detroit does not even deploy a Sam in the traditional sense.
Campbell was drafted to be a MIKE, and played SAM a few games in his rookie year as he was learning the ropes.

Try again, dumbass.

most people like to eat their eggs in the morning, but I see you prefer to wear them on your face.

Imagine paying 18 mil a year for that shit?

Links don’t work. Jack Campbell sucks and can’t cover. And also, this is not a lions thread and we’re keeping it that way. Thanks.

Links work fine, and you just got made a fool of. i am replying to your comment about a Lions player, so maybe you should follow your own advice?

When talking about Campbell, Edmunds, and Edwards, there a couple of things that stand out.

Edmunds and Edwards play 100% of the snaps with the starting defense. The only snaps they have missed are at the end of blow-outs as evidenced by having the exact same snaps counts in the last 2 games when the Bears were up 3+ scores late.

Campbell only has a single game in his young career where he has played 100% of defensive snaps. He just is not being asked to do as much and to be on the field for all downs. For a 1st round pick linebacker to not play all downs is not great. If he was DL in a rotation, I would understand it. But you expect highly draft LB's and DB's to play every defensive snap.

It's also very telling when you look at the stats and see both Edmunds and Edwards register coverage stats like interceptions and passes deflected, granted Edwards only has the 1 PD. But, you talk about Edmunds and his salary, and it's his ability to defend the pass, his size, length, and speed are a big part of that. It's more than just run stopping.

I would also remind that Edwards was undrafted and has worked his ass off to make his career. He's really a remarkable story on that front.

  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. UCLA Bruins
I still think he's going to play for some reason. I could be wrong; wouldn't be the first time.
I have a feeling he may start and the commies will make real time game decisions on his ability to play.

Per PFR, Campbell is one of the worst coverage linebackers in the entire NFL
