I hope the mainstream media gets over the "Noah is a energy guy". Yes, he obviously brings up the energy level and excites the crowd and team but he is so much more than that. Anderson Varajao is an energy guy. Andres Nocioni is an energy guy. Energy guys come off the bench and give a spark to your team. Noah is the heart and soul of this team and arguably our most consistent player. A double double guy who would have been 2nd in the league in rebounding if not for an injury. After sitting out all of those games, he's been huge for us down the stretch. The other week he almost had a triple double and the other night he was our best player on the road in the playoffs.

Noah is the real deal and the NBA is realizing it. People will always hate him because of the way he looks and acts. No one likes the other teams energy guy, especially when he looks like a dinosaur.

If he can progress like he has the past 1.5 years then i think our teams future is a lot brighter than expected. Give us Bosh and im confident in this team making serious noise in the playoffs.

Awesome post. I agree.

I don't think Noah is ever going to be a top-tier front of the line guy but he's way more than an energy guy. He can easily average 15-10 for a full year if he stays healthy.

LSU was pretty good that year, Ty Thomas and Big Baby. That program has really fallen since then.

They aren't paying their players enough. LMAO. This g-man from Louisiana came and gave a talk to my club, it was funny.

Remember the 2007-08 Bulls, his rookie year? He was the only player on that team who cared about winning. I bet Kobe would love to play with this guy. If he hadn't injured his foot, he would be the run-away favorite for most improved player of the year. I think he might get it still. Defiantly next year he will be an all-star.

Im a big Florida Gators fan and was glad when they drafted him. I took a lot of razzing the first year and a half though.

I wasn't too happy because first off I hated him as an OSU fan, and because I didn't think he was all that good, I thought he would get eaten alive in the NBA. And then after his rookie season he got arrested for having an open container of alcohol in public and for doing pot and his dad thought it was cool.

But he has really worked on his game and gotten better. He's one of my favorite players on this team now. When I was in Florida last month, we stopped at Gainsville for breakfast, our server gave me some hell over my OSU hat, I told her I love Joakim Noah, she's like he's a great guy, he's a regular here when he's in Gainsville.

Im guessing they gave you grief for your OSU hat because of the NC game against OSU that UF won. UF is a football school.

I like Noah because I thought he could provide antagonistic energy and I thought he would improve, partly because his dad was a professional athlete. Athlete's kids seem to have an ethic a lot of times...or at least I thought that might help him. The other thing was that Noah loved winning. He's 7 ft, so if he's competitive, it stands to reason that he would improve along the way.

I started to have doubts that first year though because it was a bad climate on the team. Ben Wallace was butting heads with him.

I'm well aware that Florida is a football school. I'm a big college football nut. Ben Wallace is a bum. Noah was the only player that cared about winning that year, and then after he yells at his coach, he gets suspended 1 game, and then his teammates decide that's not enough, he needs another game, they all decide in favor of it, and Paxson agreed with them. The vote was initiated by team bums Ben Wallace and Adrian Griffin, and Tyrus Thomas and Chris Duhon also showed they were bums during the season
