I got to watch the 1st period, but amboy was I wrong about this team. I figured they would be a WC team, but right now we are looking like a lock for another lottery pick.

Not sure how to fix this mess; effort is piss poor across the board. Cat gets paid is MIA; Strome and Gus are MIA; Toews looks like a bum again, and Kaner looks like he could care less at times.

Defence is what it is. We are an old slow team that is passive, and struggles with the speed and aggressiveness that is seen with the majority of teams in the NHL now.

Our best line is the 20-64-8 line; that is aggressive on the forecheck and plays with effort and speed. Wish the other lines played with half the effort these 3 do

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
At this point....talking effort is a waste of time. As Bigfoot said, this is an old/slow hockey team trying to be something they haven't been in decades.....physical. They are simply out of their element....at a time where the entire league plays an fast, upbeat style of play, the Blackhawks are trying to be the Bruins of the 70's. This is going to be a real rough season for ticket holders...thank God, I'm not one of them. The time of UC seats being readily available is getting very near.

Yeah right, "it's not the line combos" but at the end of the Philly game he had Kampf centering for Kane. Really Jeremy?
Kampf couldn't score if you turned him loose in a Tijuana whore house with a bottle of tequila and a fist full of pesos; and you have him centering your leading scorer... all other times you have him centering for Saad; who has been their best player for the past half dozen games. .. but it's not "the combos."
Enough with the Man Crush Jeremy, the 4th line is for hard working, energy guys that can't score.

This team has clearly regressed, and some of that was to be expected with the way StanBo turned over the roster in the off season, but this team seems to be in a free fall and Jeremy Colliton does not look like the guy that can get it turned around.

In calling out the players, and continuing to call them out again today, he has now made it him against them and he doesn't have the cred or cachet to pull that off.
If it were coming form Trotz, Sullivan, Quenneville, or Babcock it might work; but coming from a guy with 32 NHL wins on his resume it just sounds like defecting the blame.

This isn't Colliton's mess; he was inserted into it by StanBo once again trying to prove that he IS really the smartest guy in the room. This is StanBo's train wreck and he is the one that will eventually have to eat shit for it. Unfortunately for Colliton his career may be ruined in the process; and also unfortunaley, we loyal fans have to watch it happen in slow motion.

McKinnon, Rahntenan, Makar, and Bowen Byrum are going to terrorize the Hawks for the next decade. Holy shit Makar is fast, he might be Connor OhMyGod McJesus fast!

He is a problem.

IDK...how about

I meant Smith-Carp-Strome.

Strome was on the 4th line all game
Otherwise lines were
Cat-Toews-Kane
Jewels-Dach-Shaw
Nylander-Kampf-Kubalik

all I found were the healthy scratches were Perlini, Gilbert and Jewels

That was how bad the game was, not even hearing Saads name during the entire broadcast.

Yeah it was Saad, not Jewels on the line with Dach and Shaw. Doh!
