This is no source or anything, but I saw on the web Vitters, JJ and Marmol for Greinke. Would any of you do that trade?

No, I wouldn't trade Marmol for Pujols, that's ,a step in the wrong direction. Why unload your star closer and prospects for a two-year rental?

Well, ummm, Pujols isn't a Royal.

You trade your "star" closer because he's about to cost over $10MM/year and no closer not named Mo is worth that much.

We would have a chance at resigning Grienke. He'd probably like Chicago, considering he's been in KC his whole career.

Not really. Greinke is making 13.5 per the next two years. That's what Dunn will cost and maybe more. Plus we would be giving up two to three great prospects.

I don't really think Dunn is all that likely, I give Dunn a 10% chance of happening, but the odds of the Cubs getting Greinke is about .01%.

More likely the case.
