According to one report, the Nets are not willing to include Brook Lopez in an attempt to trade for Carmelo Anthony. But New Jersey's offer of Devin Harris, Derek Favors and draft picks may still give the Nuggets the best pieces in return for Anthony.

No mention is made of whether Anthony would agree to sign an extension with the Nets or the other interested teams as part of a trade out of Denver. Anthony's long-term commitment figures to be a prerequisite before teams offer the Nuggets quality assets in a deal.

The Nuggets have had discussions with the Bulls that center around Luol Deng and Taj Gibson.

The Warriors may offer Stephen Curry, Andris Biedrins and draft picks but are not sure that they will make Curry available.

The Clippers are called a long shot with Chris Kaman and Eric Gordon the likely two targets whom Denver would look to acquire.

I love Taj Gibson, but if it would bring Carmelo, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I think it's a longshot though.

That would be a steal. MInus the fact if Boozer gets injured we have no good backup..but...Noah-Boozer-Carmelo-Rose..we should easily get to the ECF against Miami then.

I actually could see it, Deng (still young and is good when healthy), Taj (can start, can make jumpers and a good deender) and 2 1st round picks. That could get there attention. Just throw JJ is there too, lol.

I would give Denver Deng, Taj, bobcats pick and future picks and what ever the hell they want. assuming we resign Melo, because im sure we would win a crap load of games with him and the current roster we already have.

Quick writeup on this.

I'm thinking Taj, Deng, JJ, and picks. That could be the most the Nuggets would get. And I doubt the Bulls would make a deal if they couldn't get him long term.

If the Bulls or any team were to make a trade, they better have it in place before they trade him or they could be screwed.

If we could get a legit back up pf/c in the off season, then we'll be unbeatable... unless we count miami. they might be able to beat us.

Also, with the subtraction of Deng fo Melo, it would make the bulls more athletic and faster. They are already one of the fastest teams in the league and this would be another nice reason.

I think we could could get a legit back up PF in the place of taj.

Amundson is a solid, underrated player

saw him alot in phoenix...gives lots of energy off the bench

Who knows, maybe Omer will shine. I think he's a C but from his body, I think he can play PF.

yep, I love the energy and defense he brings off the bench.

Definitely a underrated player.
