If the Bulls traded Deng and Taj for Carmelo, I would be so happy I would probably cry.

Denver wants a center. If we want a real shot at Melo, Noah is gonna have to go.

If it was a sign-n-trade, I'd say adios to Noah. But then I'd cry for a different reason

As good as Melo is..unless you have Michael Jordan...a center (or a very tall PF) is essential to winning a championship. This is why I pretty much say we should keep Noah unless Dwight Howard is on his way to the Bulls.

The rules have changed and there are so few true centers left that it isn't necessary anymore. Boozer will also give us a true post center. If this deal went through, I'd make a strong play at Dampier when he gets waived.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. North Carolina Tar Heels
Is this legit?

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Anything to get a player like Melo.

I think they have talked about it and this would be the start to the trade. It would be like Deng, Taj and 2 1st round picks.

I would love 4 the deal to happen but I think it won't and think we shuld pursue lik Danny Granger or Iguodala(again, i think) instead to try to find the missing piece

the more I think about it, its actually a pretty good trade for the Nuggets. They get a pretty good player to fill in a Melo's spot and an up and coming PF. Plus picks.

That's why a player like Noah is so valuable. Interior D is vastly more important than perimeter D. A great interior D will make the worst perimeter D look good. PG & C are 2 of the most important positions on a bball team & we have that shored up right now. That's not to say I wouldn't trade Noah for Melo, cuz I more than likely would, IF he signs an extension. However, big men like Noah are not easily replaceable & go a long way to helping a team win a championship.

And dude Boozer is not this true post player you think he is. He has low post moves but he gets much of his scoring on slashing off pick & rolls as well as pulling up for the 12-15 footer. Not to mention the dude is like 6-7. That's fine for a center if he's built like Ben Wallace with the defensive skills to boot.

I have thought about it though and ours could be better. I mean Luol instantly replaces Melo so they dont have to go out and get a SF and Taj proved he can battle with the best down low and was only a rookie.

lol no unless Deng can become a legit 20+ PPG scorer and Taj can be ATLEAST a solid starter...

I could be wrong but dont Harris and Billups the same position?

Favors has potential but Taj has been there and done that, also at a high level.

that's my point...we know what Deng and Gibson can bring to the table(not sure about him being a SOLID starter yet) and it's not worth giving up Melo....
