Tom Thibodeau, the former Knick assistant coach, is close to finalizing a deal to become the next coach of the Chicago Bulls an NBA source told the Daily News.

Thibodeau, currently an assistant with the Celtics, was in negotiations last night with Chicago team officials. Thibodeau had been the leading candidate to take the Hornets job but passed for a chance to coach the Bulls.

In fact, former Knick first-round pick Monty Williams, an assistant with Cortland, is now considered the top choice the top choice to coach the Hornets.

If the Bulls are able to put a together an attractive coaching staff, i cant see free agents not making the Bulls their prefered destination. Lebron Included.
