Anyone watching?
I love McGregor as obi wan now that he has aged... I wasn't keen on him in the prequels, but I can totally see him becoming the obi wan I fist saw.
They pretty much have infinite story lines they can use- we don't know shit about his time post anakin and pre- luke.
He can tussle repeatedly with vader and face any number of threats to Luke or Leia- all we know is he successfully shielded them for a couple decades. That could encompass a thousand story lines.
Good so far... except one Supreme gripe.
Princess Leia getting chased through the forest.
The girl who plays her is sooo uncoordinated, and the acting of the guys chasing her and being thwarted was worse than the pratfalls in home alone.
Beyond that, her acting is better than most children in tv shows.
I was all about star wars as a kid, then the prequels were so disappointing to me I never followed up on the last 3.
Then the mandalorian, book of fett, and obi wan have roped me back in.
