Eeeww. Better get those tackle spots replaced pronto then. No one needs to see Nick convulsing like a fish out of water again. That was no bueno for anyone.

People need to math here...

This is Nagy and Pace last chance to keep their jobs....

Do they think Foles is the key to keeping their jobs?

Answer that question in your head if you think Foles is the starter...

Fans are thinking long term not on how to win next year.

Well he is the only one under contract at this point for 2021. Even Bray isn’t with contract for 2021

I think that if they are worried about finding ONE guy to save their jobs then they will be fired anyway

Foles has no future here. The fact Nagy kept him on the bench in a lose and go home down 3 td's vs Saints says all.

He has a cheap tradeable cap hit. Some team will offer the Bears a 6th

Yup.

I said its gonna be lance. Trust me, it's gonna be lance. He seems like a Pace/Nagy pick. He fits what nagy wants to run.

Foles will get the first 4 games, suck terribly(He might have one good game) and then we will switch to lance and ruin him.

I think like Mitch there isn't much to ruin with Lance.

The reason I think he is a perfect Ryan Pace pick is that his background is awfully similar to Mitch in terms of limited number of starts.

Ryan Pace never takes the obvious quarterback because he has to prove how smart he is. Which is how we ended up with Mitch trubisky instead of DeShaun Watson

My title would have been, "Oddsmakers peg Bears as most tone deaf, shitshow franchisenow that Cleveland and Buffalo have shed the title," but that's just me.

And what do those two franchises have in common now? Stability at QB!!! DING! DING! DING! CORRECT!!! WHAT DOES HE WIN JOHNNY?!!!
ANOTHER SEASON OF INEPT QB PLAY WITH SHITTY COACHING AND FRONT OFFICE TO MATCH!

The Bears are keeping everyone else, so why not Nick Foles. At least that’s how the oddsmakers see it.
Nick Foles might be back next season, too. At least according to oddsmakers.

Foles, at 2/1, is currently favored to be the Bears’ Week 1 starter next season, according to Sports Betting Dime. Mitch Trubisky is listed at 5/2.

SBD is also laying odds of 15/1 that Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees and Philip Rivers will not be starters when the 2021 season begins.

ODDS TO BE STARTING QB WEEK 1 OF 2021 NFL SEASON

Bears

1. NICK FOLES: 2/1 (+200)
2. MITCH TRUBISKY: 5/2 (+250)
3. FIELD: 8/5 (+160)

Lions
1. MATTHEW STAFFORD: 4/9 (-225)
2. RYAN FITZPATRICK: 19/1 (+1900)
3. CHASE DANIEL: 30/1 (+3000)
4. JAMEIS WINSTON: 32/1 (+3200)
5. TREY LANCE: 50/1 (+5000)
6. FIELD: 9/2 (+450)
Packers
1. AARON RODGERS: 1/9 (-900)
2. JORDAN LOVE: 24/1 (+2400)
3. FIELD: 19/1 (+1900)

That would be good news - For all Bears opponents.
