I’m fine with less holding calls if they are minor but there were a few against Mack week 1 that needed to be called.

Green Bay has been doing it for years.

I think this is purely to keep the pace of the game going as smoothly as possible and was a point of emphasis during the COVID offseason. With the lack of stadium fans, I think they are much more conscientious of the overall fan experience. (Regardless of what they are admitting to)
