Seems like the Bears will be very young on the OL next year. Whitehair the only veteran. Couple 2nd year guys and some rookies. I’d love to be optimistic about this situation thinking we have a solid OL for the next 5+ years but history tells me differently

I’m still surprised they haven’t signed a Veteran Tackle just to have

Jones
Patrick
Kramer
Thomas
Jenkins

If Kramer ends up being a late round gem, then this line could be really solid.

Whitehair is trash.

He was last year but hasn't been in general. That could be be our 2023 line but also could be Borom at RT and Patrick at C.

Unless he steps it up big time. Whitehair is cap casualty in 2023 but should do better this year in this scheme. Just OK still won't save him and his $14m.

LT - Davenport/Borom/Jones
LG - Whitehair
C - Patrick
RG - Dozier/Thomas
RT - Jenkins

Dont discount Davenport starting early as Jones and Borom continue to develop.

Dozier will be a camp cut.

Let's bank on some of these bodies we drafted. I like Jones Tape.
We are also hoping on a Borom and Jenkins to take a step

Is Mustipher as good as gone?

I think this is going to be a development year for the O-line. I expect that the coaching staff is going to throw shit against the wall and see what sticks. When they find what sticks, they'll have to build cohesiveness and chemistry. I'm not expecting much in week one, but hope they have something in place to build a foundation upon by week 8-10.

Right now it's Patrick at C, and Whitehair at LG. The rest is up for grabs.
My guess is:
LT - Davenport/Jenkins/Carter
RG - Thomas / Dozier
C - Patrick/Kramer
LG - Whitehair
RT - Borom/Jones

I still believe letting James Daniels walk over Whitehair was a mistake. Don't @ me
I didn't buy into the James Daniels sucks hype. He was sandwiched in between two awful players.
