If the Bears did that I could not complain. Bears would get Anderson at #2, probably #33, and a high #2 in 2024.

That would not be good enough from Poles. The trade down with the Texans is fine but there has to be another trade down if he does that.

I want another trade down as well but wouldn't be mad at trading down to #2 and adding 2-3 more picks and still getting W.Anderson if the right other trade down isn't there.

I still think you can get difference makers with volume. Less of what Poles did last year to get volume in later rounds, and more about exploiting teams' desperation for a QB and still getting more day 1 and 2 picks.
I'd rather have more 1st and 2nd rounders to roll the dice with than just getting Will Anderson Jr. All indications are that he's going to be a star, but you never know.

Depends,.............if you think Anderson can be the next great pass rusher then it may well be worth it.

Yeah but if he can’t or doesn’t trade down I’ll be perfectly happy with Anderson.
I think most Bears fans now would view that as a failure though.
