I don't know how I feel about paying a RB. History says it's a bad idea. But the thought of Barkley and Fields in the same backfield? That could be dirty. And considering the Bears will likely struggle to find a real game changing WR1 this season, maybe Poles does go this route.

I will be shocked if he gets big money. That being said I hope they can find a cheap short deal for him and draft another RB late.
You need three RB’s.
Dump Ebner. He showed zilch last year.

I get the temptation. I’m tempted too sometimes. But that’s money that could go to a starting lineman on either side. Chiefs rode a 7th rounder to the SB. The key is to have a stable of three quality cheap RBs.

Golden tate will never be the best wr in any draft. I'd be hard pressed to find a draft he would be a 1st rounder

At this point I am leaning JSN in the first or Josh Downs in the 2nd and then picking up Kuntz 3rd or 4th round. Address OL in FA and later in draft and use the other early picks on DL.
