2 years in a row McGlinchey has been hurt. 2021 was a career threatening injury, who knows how long it holds up? No thanks.

They are not. Seems like he just wants to play for Flus and Flus knows he will follow. So why wait if they both are good.

If it’s a bargain deal great, not many of those sign this early though.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Miami Hurricanes
  2. Northern Illinois Huskies
If he gets ~$15M per year that'd put him in the top 7 of OLBs.

The thing about that is the company he'd be around. If you look at all the "OLBs" he'd be around on the salary scale, they're all pass rushing OLBs.

I think an off-ball LB should be getting paid half that.

People are simultaneously saying Bijan is "generational" and too good to pass up, yet Philly will pass him up?

They have a 2nd 1st rounder. They can use that for other needs.
Eagles are likely losing Hargreaves, cox, such, Joseph, white, edwards, gardner-johnson, Bradbury, slay, and Epps on defense alone and have minimal cap space. The other 1st rounder isn't going to fill those needs. Then on offense they likely lose seumalo, Dillard and possibly kelce. This is a team that has built out the trenches for 20+ years now. I'd expect them to continue that pattern considering how much they are losing there. Also, they will basically have no secondary left, so they might value that over rb as well.

Would he pass a physical

That is a good point. Poles really cannot afford to have another Ogunjobi situation where they agree to terms and then fail the physical. 1st time it happens, it sucks but things happen. If that keeps happening, then there is something seriously wrong with their evaluation process and it will affect how agents and players work with them in the future. Not to mention the missed opportunity costs for other players they could have gotten.

Agree to disagree then. Seems like the Jets will take him if he says he wants to play with them. But a lot of gray area there as to what "I want to play for you" really means or consists of when it comes from Rodgers.
They misunderstood. He said "I want to play you". like fools.

I would take McGary or Taylor over McGlinchey just based on either age or injury history.

Personally, I kinda like the idea of Jawaan Taylor more as he appears to be the better actual pass blocker and is younger than the other guys.

But, any of them should be an upgrade over what was here previously.
