I really do not see any big splash moves.

What's left to do seems to be providing depth at key positions where depth was an issue last year on cheap, short term deals for quality back ups.

The secondary comes to mind. Maybe DL. Of the available free agents, I do not think any are worth the extra value placed on them. Perhaps if some of them bring their price tags down after not working out deals on Day 1, I imagine it will turn into a buyer's market here shortly as the remaining players lose more and more leverage.

The thing to consider is that some of that capspace will eventually disappear with extensions at some point so that should be anticipated and a part of the overall plan.

That's big.

They just cannot seem to get over the hump. It's a good team, but they just cannot seem to execute in the playoffs for whatever reason. Maybe that's coaching. Maybe that's personnel. I don't know.

That team is too talented not to at least win the AFC. They remind me of the Washington Capitals. Regular season darlings, and then crumble in the playoffs.

Dude not gonna happen. Poles has finally got this team on the right side of draft capital. He’s not gonna go and blow that up
Was listening to Danny Parkins on the score today talk about a hypothetical where the Bears would get Tunsil by simply just moving from 9 to 12, and I couldn't believe he was actually serious. Tunsil will cost the Bears AT LEAST a 1st and probably more. I'd rather just draft Paris Johnson at 9 and live with that.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
The #Vikings are signing pass-rusher Marcus Daventport, sources tell me, @MikeGarafolo, and @TomPelissero. He gets a 1-year deal worth $13M. Impressive.

Not sure he goes for a first. Counts 35m against cap and can refuse to restructure or extend. Few teams also able to pay him the 25m a year he is probably looking for.
