The stark reality of things is finally starting to set in. What in the hell is Poles thinking? The Broncos just outspent him on McGlinchey and for Zach Allen? They have that albatross of a contract that is the Russell Wilson deal but still got the job done to improve their team.

Jones PFF grade was 51.8. 41.8 against the run with 67.4 pass rush. Let's not pretend he was without flaw.

This draft is LOADED with DL talent, so I'm not shocked that we haven't focused on that unit just yet. I do expect we'll see some action there tomorrow

I've been saying this for a while, DreMont Jones gets washed out a ton. He makes a couple splash plays a game, but mostly gets erased.

He has a great highlight reel, but isn't a guy I'd wanted playing 70% of snaps.

You cant fill 53 holes in 1 offseason. A lot of these players are JAGs, you shouldn't blow your whole cap on guys who arent difference makers. We aren't going to the Super Bowl this year anyways save some $$ for next offseason and waiver wire.

This is a headscratcher. They've signed nobody on the defensive line and only one interior OL. Ideally, they could have taken care of the DT in free agency and focused on tackle in the draft, but now they need both.

Either they have to trade up to #5 for Carter or they have to figure out how position themselves well enough to get back into the first round and take Kancey. Taking him at 9 would be too high. Can they trade their two 2nd's and move up into the first? It's probably going to take more than that... Ugh. Not a good position to be in right now if you're Poles unless he has some crazy move up his sleeve that we are unaware about.

Would love to get C.Kancey but would need a 1st in the early 20's or so to get him and it would cost more than two late 2nd's to do that. There's still some guys out there in free agency and there will be guys to get with those late 2nd's if we don't fill it in free agency.

I'm not terribly concerned about this. The draft has a lot of OL and DL to be had, and we have some picks!

We'll also be signing more players, for sure. There will be cuts. There could be trades. I like how our team is shaping up for 2023, though. We'll have holes, but I don't think it's going to be nearly as bad as last season.

There's actually still a ton a quality starting DTs and DEs available. None that are big time players but solid players to supplement with a draft pick or 2. The whining about not giving dumb contracts on day 1 of FA is outrageous

This. Just wanted something on the DL. None of these deals going out were overly ridiculous. DL still needs a lot of talent. It’s another season of washed up vets but at least there will be some young talent infused in.
