I agree this team is loaded, however they are built along O and D lines. Kelce has maybe 1 more year in him and lane Johnson is eating the end too. They just lost Hargreaves. Going to need to seriously replace these guys quick, along with some of the other talent, if they expect to compete for another Super Bowl.

Slay is a damn good Cb as well.
Kelce’s replacement was drafted last year and they are very high on his potential. But the DLine is getting old—Cox, Graham are just about done.

They are definitely taking a step back in 2023. But with 2 first rounders thanks to the idiot Saints, they will be back in 2024. They still have a very strong nucleus and a lot of youth.
They could trade this year and get two first next year. Just keep stacking every year they can lol

  1. New York Knicks
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. New York Rangers
  1. Syracuse Orange
I actually like this day but remove Hall and look at a receiver or corner
I was going for the finish the trenches mock and D.Hall was the other DE to draft. I almost took Z.Harrison over him who i also like but the goal was to end up with two DE's.

Yeah they're losing a lot of defenders but they were pretty damn stacked on defense. They brought Bradberry back and still have CJ Gardner Johnson and F.Cox sitting in free agency. They drafted that kid from Georgia in the 1st round last year to take over for Hargrave, i think his name is Jordan Davis and still have B.Graham and H.Reddick coming off the edges.

..this is actually a script I hope we can lean into if the right circumstances come about: End up not "needed" 2 first rounders next year, and flipping one of the picks into 1st Rounders until we DO need them.

I haven't been a fan of signing Brown to a long-term deal only to get him here and have him ***** about playing RT or some shit. But if we can get him on a 1 year and let's see how it goes, I'd take it.

Also remember Poles comes from that organization and likely has a decent idea of how Brown would or wouldn't fit with our staff + scheme. So if money isn't an issue here (it's obviously not) and we're NOT choosing him at a position of need, then the fit likely isn't ideal for us. Not worth risking a chemistry implosion, or bending the scheme so the OT will be "happy".
