I have a wild VEGAS theory that may/not be accurate. I'll let @vegasbear tell me if my theory is correct or not.

Maybe they were working on the Fontainebleau hotel & casino project (which started construction in 2007) and had WIFI access. They then temporarily lost their internet connection hookup after the project went bankrupt in 2009 while different companies held the rights to finish the 70% completed project in the years that followed. They decided to return in when Fontainebleau finally finished the exterior of the resort which happened to be today. Only took 16 years but on track to open in December 2023. Ignore the 2011 join date, it's a ruse!

This is as good of an origin story as I could create in 2 minutes and without ChatGPT.
