I don't understand how that could be judged anything but a targeted call. It looked textbook to me and was pretty much the type of play that puts players out of football for good.

For whatever criticisms one has of the player when he is in the game, one thing I would not criticize Anderson for is the number of plays he played in a bowl game.
Most draft picks are sitting out. He played some plays. The fact that he did not play 100% of the plays should not be a consideration at all.
If he is on the sideline a lot in most games that’s a different story, but I would not downgrade any draft pick based on the number of plays they played in a bowl game.

Georgia was only charged with 1 timeout for those 2 injuries dumbass. Go read the play by play. They used their 1st timeout well before that, charged with 1 and then iced the kicker. Is it hard for you to count?

Targeting isn’t just about helmet to helmet. Most here don’t realize that. It’s about the hit applied on a defenseless receiver.

I’m a Michigan fan would have hated for them to win off a targeting call. The refs pussed out on that td though. They prob figured what could go wrong at the half yard line. They tried to give a few make up calls on a couple obvious pi by Michigan defense after but damage was done. Overall michigan jobbed themselves they looked unprepared most of the game

I was rooting against Michigan and I immediately thought that was a touchdown on that early play so I agree they got a bad call. But I sure thought the refs spent the next three hours trying to make it up to them.

if it’s targeting, then it’s targeting. That’s like saying you don’t want to win because of a holding call or PI…if it occurred and it’s called, you take the penalty.
I personally thought that was targeting on that last play

If you’re going to mock someone because of special needs at least be grammatically correct. Targeting isn’t just about helmet to helmet contact but also if the player is defenseless. At some point you have to wonder why the refs threw the flag in the first place
