Pretty much every team loses a game like this every year.

Two playoff teams, one of which is considered a perennial Super Bowl contender, lost worse games yesterday.

They are professionals, not fans, next week is a different game.

Stefanski has the Bengals number. For some reason burrow can't beat them. The giants are a fraud. Jones is up there as one of the worst extensions ever. That team only won because daboll (who I wanted over flus) is actually a good coach. I'm not sure they can pull that off again with Barkley & waller being the only offensive talent they have.

It’s the same staff and mostly the same unit from last year. This game was their Super Bowl to show its a “new beginning” and that last year means nothing, but instead we got a big fat reminder that this a 3 win team with 1 good addition, a ton of middling-bad additions, and some rookies. Narrative and reality is this team is 3-15 and the entire coaching staff should probably update their LinkedIns.

The game had the same stink of incompetence of the Nagy regime.

The Browns-Bengals is crazy, hard to believe they are that bad against one mediocre team.

I agree Daboll is a good coach. The Giants will be competitive I think but I don't think they are a good team by any means.

That said, I don't think I can go to another Bears game or spend any money on them until they beat the Packers. They have to prove that they are worth my money. 9 losses in a row. **** that.

Just not sure how you recover from this loss and this type of loss. It was so freaking bad. It almost makes the other games meaningless until you get to the Packers game again, which will be another loss. This loss is right up there and there have been so many bad losses with this organization (losing that way to a Love run team, just vomit). I just don't get how everyone was running wide freaking open with blown coverages. Williams is awful and should be fired after week 1.

This is fair, and there was a lot of bad offensive football yesterday. I think the Bears however won the prize for most craptastic. I did not watch the Giants/Cowboys though.

Would be nice to finally have a GM/HC combination that you just knew as a fan that you could trust. I mean damn it would be amazing to have Lynch/Shanahan or something like that. They mishandle the QB position but the team is just coached and plays at such a high level that you can just sit back as a fan and just trust that they’re doing their job.

You can usually tell in 1 off-season that a Bears GM is clueless. Been at this long enough that it doesn’t bother me as much anymore, thankfully.

As far as just offense, both NYG and CIN were worse.

rephrase, gameplan. I watched the Bengals on rz, that was a good defense imo rather than inept play calling.
