if Campbell wasn't such a meathead and went for the field goal instead of blowing it on 4th down earlier in the game the score would've been tied and they'd have a chance in overtime. Shanahan aggression > Campbell aggression. lol

was a good game otherwise.

The over aggressive 4th down calls finally caught up to them.
They still had a great season. Here's to the Bears whooping up on them next year!
The more I look at it the dumber it seems, scoring 4 more points there doesnt put the game away any more than the FG does with that much time left in the 3rd. SF opens the half with a FG, why not just match that and force them into the same damn position they were in coming out of the half but now with 8 less minutes? There's opportunistic aggression and then there's over aggressive recklessness and maybe kneecap Dan found the line between the 2 the hard way tonight.

It's a pretty stupid look to shit on the Lions for losing to the consensus best team in the NFC in their own house, especially when most people didn't have the Lions making it this far to start. As I said in another thread though... with Ben Johnson leaving for Washington (most likely) and Jared Goff at the helm, I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions can't make it back to the NFC championship game with this current team/core. We'll see though.

If they didn't choke away a game they pretty much had firmly in hand, I'd agree with you.

I dont disagree but I do respect him for sticking to it. It's worked a ton this year. It'll be interesting see if he changes next year.
