Someone is lying to Fields. They're nowhere near "almost there" and last night proves that. I'm also wondering with these comparisons... he's right on track to be either Mitch or Josh Allen lol smh

3 trips to the red zone that could have easily been 21 points. Pretty much been in every game this season.

They could also be 0-6 quite easily. To think this offense is "close" though is laughable.

They put up almost 400 yards of offense. The play calling in the rz has been mostly miss. (Last might was not that bad minus the run with Herbert? Right into the strength of the defense).

They need to get creative in the rz. I like the Pass to Mooney in the flat that was tipped, Borom needs to lay wood if a guy leaves his feet like that, or be more aware and prevent him from getting hands up to begin with. It’s easy to look at a play like that and blame the qb

Won’t have to take him in the 1st. He’s a 2nd rounder at best.

That said, I’d happily take him on the roster. He’s smart and has a good feel for the pocket.

I’m also not in the “give up on Justin fields” group yet, though
I mean Burrow was considered a 5th rounder at best before his 2019 campaign. You never know…

Fields still misses the throw, regardless of anything that happens. If he put more touch on that, it's a completion and a TD. But what TE in this league crabwalks to the corner of the end zone at half speed?

This is the perfect example of 2 things being true at the same time. Like you gotta hit that throw, and also, wtf is Griffin doing? And why isn't that play designed for our #1 TE? I just always have so many questions about how things are done on this offense. Especially in the fucking red zone, and even more so once it's goal to go.

I'd love to see us figure that shit out THIS season.

We have Wesco and Griffin in at TE on this play. WHERE THE **** IS KMET? Again, this is the kind of shit that baffles me. You're dialing up a play to a TE like this, why is Kmet not even on the fucking field?

You think if KC ran that play, their 2nd string TE would be the target? Would Kelce be on the sidelines? Hell, even if they wanted to throw it to their 2nd string TE, Kelce would be doing SOMETHING to be a decoy.

I HAVE GIVEN UP ON THIS OFFENSE. LET IT BE KNOWN.

sorry but if youre going to give fields excuses this isnt the play to do it.
There’s more to it if you watch the breakdown.

Should he adjust to his receiver? Yes. Should the receiver not change his gait? also yes.

His point was Fields is taking allot of heat for this (deservedly so imo) but it’s not all on him. I don’t know how much I agree with that.

They were trying to sell the run, i don’t mind the play call or personnel it worked they didn’t execute.

I'm just of the mindset that if you're trying to score, you have your best players in there. Not standing on the sidelines holding their dicks, while the TE that runs like a god damn toddler is trying to catch passes.

It's Ryan griffin he's closer to an extra Olineman than anything resembling a receiver. He's played with Griffin since this Spring. Fields has to know the personnel and know Griffin isn't the best runner and doesn't get to his spots as fast as the other guys.

Respectfully I don't see how anyone could put this on Griffin. He's looking back expecting the pass because he's THAT open. A straight pass with just a little arc to get it over the defender's head gets it done. I just really don't see it with this play.
