Lol. Bill Belichek got pistol whipped in the playoffs and quite possibly might be missing out this year. He hasn’t done shit since 2018.
He doesn’t even have a good veteran QB.

He’s the GOAT and I can see the foundation he’s built that only needs a couple more pieces, pieces he will easily acquire besides QB because he has extra resources deploying this strategy.

You spend on the type of free agents that will return comp picks.

Now you will find fierce competition for players that fit this profile because other teams are doing the same.

The strategy does not start with success. Success starts with timing your spending years.

It starts this year by spending every cent of dollars on contracts that run out simeultanously.
You absolutely do not worry about over paying especially on a short term because the contract value is in the formula. So overpaying in this case creates a higher comp pick.

Name one team with a losing a record year after year that has been able to get comp picks. Name one.

As soon as Brady left the Pats focused on this strategy to rebuild.

It takes half a decade to start but start you must.

You can still be good because you bought 9 10,000,000 free agents this year.

Now those 9 help you team for the next 2-3 years, and at the end you are rewarded for them because you didn’t buy any more for two years.

In the second cycle of this you will not miss overpaying fred agents one bit because you have 10 picks per year. And if necessary trade one of those to fill a hole with yet another timed veteran contract that fits your plan.

Once begun you have perpetual success but you will never get there if you don’t begin and you are unlikely to stay there if you have not been force feeding your roster with extra talent in this manner.

Pats spent tons of money on FA WR’s this year, and did not receive a single 2022 compensatory draft pick. You’re talking about the bradyless pats like they still have Brady. Not only do you sound delusional but you sound clueless.

Exactly.

Bad teams don’t do this.

What the **** is difficult about

1. Buying 6 FAs this year
2. Buying zero FAs next year.

Vs

1. Buying 3 this year.
2. Buying 3 next year.

In both cases you have bought 6 fa’s and helped your team.

In the first scenario you are given 3 comp picks for something that took almost no thought or effort at all.

You guys can’t possibly be too stupid to understand this which is why I don’t even take you serious.

Just idiot trolls of chaos destroying earth with your poison.

If that’s who you choose to be. Congrats.

The pats have 9 picks per year because in years they receive them it gives them the luxury to trade two of them down and get even more, for next year when they plan to sign those FA wrs and not get comped

So you want to bank right now that the pats will be what in 5 years? Go ahead. Make your 5 year pats bet now. You’re blowing smoke out your ass.
You have to be a liar or an idiot.
