Other than the top of the draft and the QB’s, only 17 players currently have typical first round grades. Its not as weak as last year’s class but still not like the 2020 draft.

So the Bears really didn’t trade Claypool for a 1st?

Not for nothing, we got Cutler out of that. Yeah, I know how it turned out, but it was a very beautiful moment before it all went to shit.

Let’s see if Vegas can do better for us. Let them swap their QB for a first and some seconds, give us that and Devonte’s contract. I’ll be cool.

Hey, an anybody explain what would happen if we got Davonte’s contract. Would we just be on the hook for the 28 mil per year?

Yeah. It might actually be lower than 17. This class has a lot of value in positions seen as support: slot receivers, Centers, RBs, but a lot of very good looking DEs. So, the lack of positional value high is also an issue.

Getting a bunch of picks in the top 50 would be the optimum strategy. Maybe getting a first from a shit ass team for next year, too.
