Worthless discussing football with @nc0gnet0, his retort is always some individual game in the past, a player stat ( 4000yds passing ), or an individual play ( double doink ), as there is nothing about the Lions as a franchise in the past 50+ years that is anything less than total misery. And with Goff and Sudfeld as the QB room, nothing but misery in the present or near future.
It is occasional fun to entice him to flail at efforts to propound that the Lions are superior to the Bears , but it quickly becomes tiresome as he falls back on the same old tired fallacious arguments.
Of course he gives you the yawn emoji with this comment. The fool has no response because he knows it’s true.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

You lost all credibility when you went Kmet over Hock, only a Bears homer would do that. Congrats on having more yards due to Hock's injury...oh, but did Kmet have more touchdowns? No, better yet did he have ANY touchdowns? I will be laughing all night at this one. It took Kmet 5 more games to beat Hock by 30 yds LMFAO.
Your starting Fields over Goff based on "potential" lol. Fields will not have a better year than Goff, and Bears will still be waiting for a QB that can throw for 4000 yds.
Monty and Swift are a toss up.
Mooney yes.

when fields throws for 4k this year, will you say it needs an * cause of 17 games?

Think you are confused. I said I would chose Kmet over Hock because Kmet is a true inline TE. Hock is a move TE hence why almost half of his snaps last year were in the slot. Kmet is a superior run blocker. So Kmet is a more balanced TE that gives you receiving and blocking. I also said he is more durable as he hasn't missed a game while Hock has missed 9 games thus far. You can't get yards if you aren't on the field so yes Kmet outgained him last year because again he is more durable.

Is Hock a better pure receiver? Yes. However Kmet is still a good receiving threat and more suited to actually play in-line as he is bigger, stronger, better blocker and more durable than Hockenson.

There isn't a team in the NFL that would not trade Goff for Fields. If Poles called up Lions and offered Fields for Goff the Lions take that deal in a heartbeat. You would be stupid to suggest otherwise. Of course the reality is Lioms would likely have to pony up a first rounder and more if they actually wanted Fields. Meanwhile the Rams gave up a draft pick just to get rid of Goff.

Amazing he doesn't realize that Kmet stays in to block a lot more than Hockenson

Wait...What?

Lions will be bad because of past history.
Bears will FINALLY have a QB that throws for 4k yards........despite past history.

Got it!!

Maybe when the season goes to 18 games, maybe, just maybe the Bears FINALLY get a QB that throws 4k yards.........

Your starting Goff based off of what? He threw for 3,200 yards and 19 TDs last year haha. Those stats are unbelievable and HOF worthy……
He had better stats last year than Fields, and that is all that matters. After a complete turd sandwich in the first two preseason games, Fields finally had a decent game in the last. Color me not impressed.

2022 B/R NFL Power Rankings: Where Does Every Team Stand Entering Week 1?

30. Chicago Bears

  1. The Chicago Bears will go as far as quarterback Justin Fields takes them. But the perception from most on the outside is that the team hasn't exactly put the quarterback in position to succeed. Aside from running back David Montgomery and wide receiver Darnell Mooney, the skill-position talent isn't scaring anyone. The offensive line is shaky enough that Chicago claimed Raiders flameout Alex Leatherwood off waivers.
However, new Bears general manager Ryan Poles refutes the idea that the roster around Fields is weak. Poles said, via Mark Potash of the Chicago Sun-Times:
“I’m not going to overreach and do crazy things to get a name or anything. Our approach has been consistent from the draft all the way through. We’re going to continue to add talent all around the best we can. It might not be the name that everyone wants to hear. But we’re going to develop the players that we have here.”
To be fair, Fields and the Bears looked good in the preseason finale against Cleveland. But Davenport remains skeptical this team can make any noise in 2022.
"The Bears seem to at least be trying to scheme opportunities for Fields to do what he does best—to take advantage of his mobility," he said. "But the Bears have both the weakest collection of offensive weaponry and the worst offensive line in the NFC North. Even if Fields takes a step forward this year, the Bears are much closer to a last-place team than a first-place one.
