The deep drop is due to QBs not trusting Oline to block the defender. Also to create passing lanes. These defenders nowadays take a lot of space and are tall. These d line are tipping passes do to Oline not cutting them down.

Going out of his way to prioritize defense?.. Traded away the best defender in Mack... FA class Morrow, Muhammad and Justin Jones, then in the season he traded away arguably the next best 2 defenders... Drafting 2 secondary guys in the 2nd was a headscratcher, but both are playing okay. I think he prioritized tearing the team down of contracts he didn't like and trying to get a top pick.

While i would love to just agree, the stats are by Seth Walder, the guy who makes idiots believe the Bears have the 2nd best pass blocking OL.
Imagine typing that and then publishing it. “Bears OL is #2!!!”
