My shock was that they didn't try to find Dirk.At all.He took the ball and did the worst thing he could do.

I don't know what Terry did in his career.I know that he wasn't an all star EVER.And his only achievement is the championship last year that Dirk won.So when you have a 11 times all star player in your team with 30 points in the game and a full time offense YOU LOOK FOR HIM.And if this doesn't work then you do everything else. You don't just get the ball and keep it in your hands and go for the bad drive if your name is Terry.

What are you talking about Jason Terry was the 6th man of the year in 08-09 and damn near won it again last year but was edged out by Odom. He's got his own hardware to go with that ring. Of course the other team is expecting the ball to come to Dirk, that's why you don't give it to him. Terry's always been clutch, him taking the last shot is perfectly fine.

What I learn today:

When the game is on the line you don't look for your best player.Even if the player is a top10 player.

I am done.

They should have looked for Terry more times in the finals last year.Because the other team was expecting the ball to be on Dirk's hands and he is soft.

thechosenone is right. Terry had Dirk wide open with plenty of time (twice). Bad play by Terry.

I don't blame Terry. He is a decent player.I like Terry.I blame the coach. They should have set better offenses for Dirk.I would prefer having Dirk for a drive against everyone than Terry. And if he couldn't make it to look for Terry for an open shot or a drive with much free space for his first steps.

If Terry took the initiative in playing like this then it's Terry the guy I blame. But usually players just follow coaches orders in last possessions.

If you're talking about last nights game specifically, then yeah, bad decision by Terry. The shot wasn't there for him. I thought he was just saying Jason Terry sucked in general or something along those lines. Regardless, Terry's a guy who can take and make that big time shot for you. Doesn't mean he's going to hit it 100% of the time though.

I have him as a guy that can make a clutch open shot or a clutch open drive.

They could have won the game if the ball was in the right hands for the last possessions. They could have won it even if Terry have taken the pass from Dirk Nowitzki for a great percentage shot. But what they did last night made me really angry.

No he is not right. If the argument is "Terry should have passed to the open man, who happens to be one of the best clutch players in the league". Then he has a point.

If his argument is (as it is worded) "Terry has no business taking last possession shots with Dirk on the team...", then that is erroneous thinking because Terry has taken those shots plenty of times.

No.Terry has no business having the ball in his hands to create a shot in the last possession when in his team there is a player who happens to be one of the best clutch players in the league and this player HAPPENS to be hot in this game..

It's like the game is on the line and Luol Deng has the ball in his hand to create a shot when in the game there is Rose with 30 points so far being hot in the whole 4th quarter.Deng is a clutch player. He can hit clutch shots.BUT having him to create his shot in the last possessions would be a terrible play.

BS.That "happens" killed me.lol

Yeah that's what I thought he was trying to argue the whole time too

You are looking too much for player's value debates.I am just writing about the games I watch here.

On topic.NYK doing great job so far against the Mavericks.I expected them to lose by more.

Last night Shaq stated that the Bulls have no chance against the Heat and the Knicks can have a chance against them."It would be big 3 vs big 3."

How fail can this man be?In every debate he participates he is wrong. Not one time he is right. That is a good sign we will win the championship too.It seems that as good as a player he was he can't understand basketball off the court. If I was there I would ask him to name the Knicks big 3..Amare,Melo and? Lin? Chandler? JR Smith? Who is the 3rd? He left me with a question.

KLove is the first player in NBA history to score more than 35 points, grab more than 10 rebounds and make more than 5 3pt for 2 consecutive games.

He is so sick. Definitely an MVP candidate.

I agree with you that Lin isn't proven enough to be part of any "Big 3". And no, Shaq doesn't do well on that studio show.

However, I do believe, as he must, that Rose isn't good enough to beat the Heat by himself. That will have to be proven to some fans who don't want to trade Noah for Howard...because they really like Noah...sad.

Yes I brought it up here and I said that him taking the last possessions in the OKC game was the worst offense they could set.I didn't say he is worthless or sth or that he can't hit some clutch shots.

You know I would trade Howard for Noah in a heartbeat. But allow me to believe that Rose,Deng,Rip,Boozer and Noah is by any mean a much "bigger 5" than the "big 2 who don't play defense and a hype" thing in the Knicks.

Anyone who believes something different must see a doctor.Shaq included. If the Bucks had Bogut healthy the Knicks wouldn't make the playoffs. And the bulls are fighting for the 1st seed right now.So simple.

The bulls starting lineup is probably the best starting lineup in the league. No doubt about that.

Yes I understand that now. But the way you were wording your argument before was as if Terry was some scrub like JL3  So do you have league pass on the computer then or what? How do you see these games?
