Here's a link to the Dwight Howard/Van Gundy situation

Coach Van Gundy told that Dwight Howard wants him fired

What an absolute cancer to the team. I am so glad we (for all we know, at least) take a serious crack at Howard. His selfishness is just embarrassing to that entire franchise. On top of that, if Van Gundy did find this out, why on Earth do you bring this out in the media when you're in the middle of a playoff race? Both of these guys need to be gone. What a disgrace. They've both lost the locker room.

Wow, the way Lebron acted with his stupid decision show was ridiculous.

But the way Howard acts is almost McGee like dumb!

I'm just gonna sit back and watch the Bucks take the 8th spot from NY.

Bulls-Milwaukee 1st round match up.

Have fun losing in 5.

I don't know. NY has a tougher schedule than the Bucks and they have a game against the Bucks @ Milwaukee. So right now the #8 seed is on the Bucks players hands. If they beat the Knicks and win the "easy" games they can make it

Not so sure SVG will be on the plane to Philly after tonight's game. What incredibly bad timing for this fiasco. And what the hell is Stan thinking airing this stuff out to the media? Just say no comment. Maybe he's just had enough. Either way he knows he's gone & they will probably have to do it sooner rather than later.

Damn Dwight Howard has really shown his true colors this season. Doesn't seem like a very trustworthy person at all.

I understand that pro sports is a 'here today, gone tomorrow' business just like anything else...but the public knowing about shit like this always makes me shake my head. The media is doing a really good job of embarrassing Stan, while making Howard look like the worlds largest crybaby.

Its not the media's fault. They are doing their jobs. This is on Van Gundy and Howard. They both showed instances of pettiness yesterday and throughout the season.

I guess its hard for me to side with Howard, because no matter how great he is, I believe he shouldn't be telling management on his own free will that he wants Van Gundy gone. The Magic are a playoff team, and I don't think that's justifiable to want a coach fired when a team is 3rd in the East and 10 above 500.

If the GM asks him what his opinion is on Stan, I wouldn't have a problem with him giving it. The Magic were the 3rd seed for the longest of time this season, and they are nowhere near Bobcats bad.

Ok, yeah that's true also.

I guess more than anything it's easy to say the general opinion of Howard is much different than the laid back, funny, great basketball player.

Which seems to be the case with plenty of NBA stars anymore.

Its not unusual, Magic Johnson got his coach fired...after they'd won a championship. Michael Jordan went to Reinsdorf and asked for Krause to get fired. Prominent players in organizations make those top of power plays, it is usually kept behind closed doors though. What Van Gundy did is most irregular. Yet I understand why he did it.

This is an optimistic fan here, Monta Ellis will lead them to a championship right? Oh and since he joined the bucks he is still the most clutch in the league right :lmao:
