Does anyone else get depressed that MJ is such an atrocious front office guy and an equally horrible owner? It's kind of sad. Dude is clueless.

No...its what I expected. I used to argue with certain posters on bullspodcasters.com about why the Bulls didn't give Jordan the "Laker treatment". They were pissed that the owner didn't hand over ownership to Jordan. got damn shame.

From what I am told, Reinsdorf's organizations are considered among the best to work for in the sports world. Jordan is not exactly a people person it seems. I wish I could dig up some of those old threads to prove my point...

This is what I expected out of him after he ran the Wizards into the ground. I'm glad the Bulls didnt involve him in the team at all.

Heh. The thing is he never seemed interested in coaching, he just wanted control as in ownership.

Exactly right...the key word is "control". That is what he would have wanted in Chicago. People who think he would have paid for a minor stake in the team and then sit and wave at fans from his luxury box are delusional.

The Bulls are a gold mine. One of the top markets in sports television with one of the most loyal followings of any sports team in America. People thought Jordan was ENTITLED to part ownership of the team...sad. I wouldn't sell part of my team either...to anybody. I would do what Reinsdorf is doing...leave it for the kids.

Jordan the player - "If you can't make it work economically, you should sell the team."

Jordan the owner - "I suck as an owner and have run two teams into the ground, everyone esle should help make it work economically".
