Interesting, since absolutely no one else has reported any such news & a Howard deal has been shelved since the beginning of the week. Nothing but speculation imho.

Well if he wanted to start then no since they already have Wade. If he was ok with a backup role, then he probably would've gone there. My guess is he wanted to start so he came here. As much as I'm liking Rip for us so far, if that was actually the logic that made him pick us over the Heat, I can't respect him as much.

Damn, too bad for Lopez. Looked like he might turn the corner this year.

I expect many more injuries this year. Just another reason why I think the Heat could struggle. The big 3 only missed an average of 4.2 games last year between them. I don't see that happening again this year, not with the 100+ games & nearly 4,000 minutes all 3 played last season, with still no bench, & in a compressed, grueling schedule.

I'm ray: we are injury free all year since we got F'd in the A last year.
