Black Friday 2015​

It's back! My sixth annual Black Friday thread for ChiCitySports as we are just over a month away!

The first ad has been released and many more will follow in the coming weeks. The big thing to focus on this year will be when the stores open and if they do Thanksgiving Day sales. Last year almost every major retailer began their sales Thursday afternoon, which seems to be the common theme of opening earlier and earlier each year.

Something to remember: Black Friday pre-sales and early bird sales are great. Wal-Mart usually runs them a few Saturday's before BF with great deals on TV's, electronics, etc. If online is your thing, go big on BF and Cyber Monday! The deals are great and you can avoid lines.

Now manufacturers build shoddy things at with the cheapest components, and make that their Black Friday deal. Why do people fall for it? Because one in five people still have a working Bluray player that they bought on a black friday a few years ago.


My $0.02. Sorry zack. I don't mean to debbie downer. Just how I strongly feel about something that used to mean good deals, and now it means bad quality.
