Last 2 times I've gone to the dispensary here in Vegas, my favorite gummy edibles have been on sale. It was 6 packs for $45 two weeks ago (I used a $20 reward so after taxes, it was barely over $30) and then on Monday, got 5 packs for $35. I can't smoke because my apartment's new management company are pricks about smoking of any kind so been rocking the edibles instead.

Get a dry herb vape, a Smoke Buddy or some type of sploof to blow your hits into, and some Funk Away spray for afterwards and you're good.

But, if you have to go homemade, use a charcoal filter or a N95/KF94/KN95 mask stuffed into a toilet paper roll.

You really shouldn't need much for a good dry herb vape (one that doesn't burn it) and you don't turn it up enough to burn it.

You can buy cut your own carbon sheets for air filters. It's what I use for my grow.

Unless you're talking about cleaning bongs don't use isopropyl. Get Everclear or one like that.
$100 distiller from Amazon. Should get about 90% of the alcohol back and do it faster.
