My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
Statements of fact the Tigers have placed more players on the DL then the White Sox have had to this season and they placed another important player on the DL for the second time this season. Interpret that the way you want.

If losing Avilia, and Jackson for a few weeks is going to be an excuse for Detroit scuffling and not winning the division (not that you said that), then they're probably not built to win the division anyway.

You guys are ridiculously sensitive about everything. Seriously who the **** is putting an asterik on this season. The Tigers have had more injuries what is so hard to accept about that. But whatever bury your guys head in the sand if someone says anything that can in the slightest way be twisted to be negative about the Sox if that person isn't a Sox fan.

Just giving you crap because you know kitties suck.

Seriously though whenever the Royals develop some pitching they could be good. Unfortunately for them they have to develop that pitching while Hosmer, Moustakas, etc. are still affordable for them.

Hosmer is doing his best to stay affordable this year by sucking.

Who gives a shit who has had more injuries? The tigers weren't able to continue to win despite their injuries, and the White Sox were able to move forward from their injuries.

The White Sox are both good and in a crappy division. Just because they are in first place in a bad division, doesn't mean they're bad. They're certainly not the Yankees or the Rangers, but guess what. They've gone 6-4 against those two teams.

Again this whole "argument" is stupid. I said a couple of true statements which somehow gets twisted into the Sox aren't good. If you want my actually thoughts about Smyly going down it was:
A)This could possibly really help the Cubs because maybe Detroit gets extra desperate to make a move for Garza or Dempster right now
B)The Tigers have been playing some good ball since they started to get healthy again, but maybe this is just one of those years where they can't get ever get healthy enough to keep a run going.

Statement B has nothing to do with the White Sox, and in no ways says the White Sox are a bad team. In fact that statement couldn't be more neutral to the White Sox.

I'm not saying that you said any of that stuff. So stop putting words into my mouth.

My point was that both teams have had injuries. That's tough. That's how it works in professional sports. But the teams that win games are usually the ones that push past the injuries by either getting lucky or finding a hidden gem. I think for the White Sox it was a bit more of the luck won, but that doesn't mean this team is bad either.

Common ground how I missed you...

And for clarification purposes, I was stating that the argument had somehow had been turned into me saying that Sox suck not that it was your implication.

Which hopefully we can move past at this point because as I have shown it was useful information about a team chasing the Sox and reflected my thoughts on that team this season (calling it like I see it), which has absolutely no implications about my feelings on the Sox. I think I covered most of those in your eat crow thread to be honest.

Not worried right now. Just a little. I still think the Indians will fall off. Detroit is a little scary lately, but I think as long as the Sox keep up the pace they've set, they can win the division.

It's gonna be a tough couple weeks. The good thing is that Sale and Peavy pitch in the same series again. That's big.
