Multiple past special teamers have talked about how it’s no big deal to drive a commute to Soldier and practice each day, make a daytrip of it away from the coaches, have fun, hang with the Soldier Field staff.
The only excuse not to do it is if you just don’t want to do it.
If I were a basketball player who had major problem making free throws, I’d lock myself in our gym until I was automatic. I wouldn’t just say, “Meh, the hoop on the playground is just as good. I’ll just do a few free throws there for a couple of days and I’ll be good.”

except gould was garbage the last year with the Bears.. He said that it took the bears cutting him to have him re evaluate and re focus and get his head back into the game.. sucks for the Bears but it is what it is..
