Forte made my day. Saved my fantasy teams ass.

Lmao he killed one of mine, and the guy had Chris Johnson too lol. And Forte even had 4 more points than him too.

the fact that the bears had 4x as many yards is encouraging despite the fact that result may not have been

All I know is the Bears receiving core is God awful, and so is that O-line.

Everything else seemed stellar to me.

They should have won that game by so much more than they did... this was NOT a moral victory...

The Bears had soooo many chances to take the lead and increase their lead. Especially when Briggs made a great play on a blitz by stripping Hill on the 1 yard line, if that. The O-Line is pitiful and couldn't block my grandma, and why Mike Martz didn't call a QB sneak is beyond me. If they tried to sneak it they probably would've gotten the TD

The line is terrible for the run,it was alright overall when Cutler had to pass at the beginning but got worse after awhile. I remember even when Knox when him and Cutler messed up on a pass when Knox went right and Cutler threw the ball straight I think after they zoomed in on Knox I think he said "I didnt know which way to go"....sadly I dont think any of the receivers do.

DA looked good all game minus the leaping TD drop.. but that was a tough catch he was trying to stay in bounds more than catch it.. Cause maybe he's someone who knows if he caught that and had his feet touch he'd still have to hold the ball going into the ground.

He also took a ton of hits.. but it's nothing unshocking they will have mistakes and issues to start the year, the good thing is they can move the ball with the backs like hoped good and they can grow into a more understanding unit. Martz with every team in the first season had his offense get it at some point.

Yeah I think the receivers will get their stuff down pat,but if they don't it'll look bad on the players and the staff.

DA was the only WR i was happy with....minus that dropped TD pass in the 1st quarter...Knox was caught running the wrong route twice...there might have been more times...Hester didnt do much to get himself open...atleast I never saw it (again cant see everything on TV)...There were times Cutler had protection...and he scanned the field and no one would be open..and by then Cutler is holding onto the ball too long and then gets sacked or just has to take off running.

Then perhaps that touchdown call was a makeup call at the end of the game.

What a crazy game.

I still don't know what the hell Lovie Smith was thinking going for it on 4th down. Anytime you have the chance to take the lead, you do it.

No doubt in my mind -- that was all Martz.

It was Lovie. He even admitted it in the post game. He said if he had the chance to do it again, he would.

What kind of moron takes points off the board, and then would do it again with this horrible offensive line.
