Then you're an idiot. I'd trade Rodgers/Manning/Brady or whoever the **** if it meant 10k in my pocket. Also JohnnyBox, you should go back to being 2pac.

10k to you may not mean the same to other people.....

IMO if Brock plays half decent or doesn't lose the game Manning might not play another snap in the NFL.

He's just done. The guy probably has 14 years of NFL experience telling him 'that guy's open, let it rip', while he also has 1.5 years of experience telling him 'you can't make that throw anymore'.

I also don't think it's all his arm. Mentally he's second guessing himself and whenever he gets hit it seems to take him weeks to recover, which add up when you participate in weekly car crashes.

Anyway, for you Bears fans you would have been better off playing against Manning. There's less tape on Brock and physically he can do a lot more in terms of arm strength and mobility. Personally as a non-fan of both teams that game just got a lot more interesting.

Fox knew this last year and that is why he is gone from Denver. Elway still wanted Manning out there and Fox wanted to move on....It was a difference of opinion.

Manning doesn't have it anymore. He might show flashes here and there but his body is done.

There may not be a whole lot of tape on him, but this coaching staff worked with him for the last what 3-4 years. I think they have an idea of what he can and can't do.

Exactly. If there's one coach that knows what Osweiler can do, it's Fox.

That being said, the Bears somehow always make these new QBs look like the next Dan Marino.

Not always true. We held our own against Luck in his first career game. We shutout Tyler Thigpen in 2010 as well.

Thats a great point, but I'd add that Fox also knows Manning's limitations better than any other coach in the NFL. Brock at least gives the Broncos a wild card element.

What wild card. His former offensive coordinator and coach is here. They know his strengths and weaknesses. They had 3 years of watching him.

I'm pretty sure Fox and Gase are well aware of Brock's limitations too.

I am as well but he could be better than Manning's been this year. Not necessarily a positive for this week.
