I've got a good one, I cooked this up earlier this week.
1 bison filet mignon
Add salt the day before you're going to grill then re-wrap in packaging
Set out before grilling to get to room temp & season. I just added a bit of pepper
Grill over high heat for 4 minutes a side
Let sit for 5 minutes so it gets extra awesome
This was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten
Wow sounds fantastic. My daughter loves a nice red filet. I'm thinking of making her this and letting her know it wasn't beef afterward. Is bison filet mignon just as tender or more than pasture raised beef?
Just bought a few packs of tortillas and 2 pounds of skirt steak cleaned, opened, and por la maquina (through the machine). Seasoned with onion and garlic powder, marinated in lime juice, and will add salt before grilling. Also a few ears of corn seasoned with butter and salt to throw on the grill. We don't eat steamed corn in my house.
I really wanted to throw on the pasture raised new york strip and filet mignons on the grill today, but visitors decided to come over coming over. Not enough steaks to go around.
