I am telling my nephew not to sweat the application-only high schools in Chicago and think about community college and accumulate credits until he knows what he wants to do. Maybe I'm projecting but when you're older, education is worthless if you don't know what you want to do. At that point it becomes popcorn fart and libtardian to quote Proust at dinner parties that someone else paid for and everyone just gets quiet for a minute.

To be eligible for the Highest Honor in the entire History of Message Boarding, you must have joined this fine website a minimum of five years ago and also have a minimum of ten thousand posts. The Staff here at Chicitysports.com have tortured themselves for weeks now to take every poster that qualifies and run them through a rigorous series of algorithms and litmus tests to give you fine people a list of ten nominations for the 2020 class of the CCS Hall of Fame.

Now the rest is up to you!

@airtime143 is a great poster. I have disagreed with him in the past but it has been one of 3 posters that I can disagree with complete drama-free incidence and ultimately very instructive in terms of football knowledge or seeing things from a different POV.

@onebud34 is almost always on point and uses zingers only for the obviously clueless. Too infrequent of a poster imo.

@HeHateMe has epic food blogs and a decent troll game while keeping on point with football. I can definitely see why some would not like him, but I am not one of them. And I lean right even.

@tardigrade - almost a complete troll of the worst CCS offenders here but his targets are mostly well-deserved and has been known to have decent football insight from time to time peppered amongst the sarcasm and scathing commentary tagged to the foolishness.

@Gustavus Adolphus - saved one of the no-brainers for last. Can troll, can talk good football, and can disagree with points that he can see why others see it that way while not joining and can also disagree with good mocking when it becomes more objective about what's wrong with the other side. A jack of all trades in his posting style, and rarely disappoints no matter which tact he chooses to post.

I have zero issues with the ones left off my list at all. If the field was expanded, other names would be added and I would not feel like it would be too broad a field. There would no feeling of diminishing returns if more nominees would be granted entrance.

Favorite staff member:

Abstain. I don't really know any besides @FirstTimer and @Jamais Vu

FirstTimer is already in and not confirmed if still among us. I know he had a bad stint in B and I and deserves criticism for his behavior there, but I still love when he goes full takedown mode of certain posters especially football-wise.

JamisVu I guess has not enough time to be considered, but is a first ballot entry imo when his time comes.

All others - well, it's kind of like electricity. Take it for granted when everything works perfectly and this is one of the best message boards ever in terms of freedom and common sense moderation. They all deserve credit for it and if one of the bigger sites like FB, Twitter et al had the same moderators as CCS, then that one would dominate the marketplace of participation and revenue that comes along with it imo.

Actually, he is not. So you are free to give him a vote.

Last year was the inaugural year for this and Staff Members were excluded with a couple of exceptions.

Zack & Rush went in for making this place happen at all and @nvanprooyen was voted in on his own before being (re)modded up.

Like yourself, I got the time but not the post count. Its the only time quality over quantity has ever failed me....although I think I got a shot next year with all the time I spend in the Staff Forum talking shit about everyone.

Shit. I should dedicate notifications to whole threads when I get into debates. That's a "no duh" way of replying without notifying the opponent that you have done so. I could see some wary posters using that as a way of "getting a last word".
